Homeowners can always use a little inspiration when it comes to design and renovation. That’s why home shows are so successful; they not only incorporate some of the industry's most respected businesses and experts, they also provide an avenue for ideas to take shape before time and money are invested.

This season there are a plethora of shows across Ontario showcasing everything house and home. From interior renovations and greening your home to outdoor gardening and entertaining in style, there is no shortage of great ideas to get the creative ball rolling.

This year homeowners are paying close attention to their pocketbooks and rather than spending large on vacations abroad, they are putting things into perspective and staying closer to home. "Staycation" is the new buzz word and it shows with the growing trend in in swimming pool, sauna and hot tub installations. Pair those great outdoor accessories with a stellar guest list and you have the makings of fabulous outdoor entertaining.
